Ballan Arts Space showcasing local artists and makers

Sitting pretty in their new premises in the centre of Ballan’s Inglis Street you’ll find an incredibly active local gallery, highlighting the best of local art.

The Ballan Arts Space opened in mid 2022, an initiative of the Ballan and District Artists Collective, aiming to provide local artists with opportunities to exhibit, gather, promote and run arts-related events.

And what a success it’s been. Since its launch, the gallery has staged fresh feature exhibitions every six weeks or so, along with regularly updated collections of pieces by members of the Collective.

There’s also a Gallery Shop, open during Collective exhibitions and featuring items from local artists and makers, along with regular events and workshops for artists.

The gallery is open for viewing, Friday and Saturday, 10am – 3pm, and entry is free.
